Jewellery Care Guide

A RITUAL – PRESERVE THE BRILLIANCE OF YOUR HEIRLOOM TREASURES

The House of Almaari pieces are meticulously handcrafted in hallmarked 925 sterling silver, plated in 22K gold, and set with moissanite polki and natural gemstones. Our silver is nickel and lead free, designed to be hypoallergenic and gentle on sensitive skin. Caring for these jewels is a quiet ritual -an expression of devotion that helps them stay luminous for generations.

HANDLE WITH CARE

  • Put jewellery on last and remove first to protect plating and gemstones from perfumes, hairspray, lotions, and cosmetics.
  • Remove your jewellery before any activity that might cause scratching, stone loosening, or residue buildup.
  • Handle each piece gently; delicate settings may loosen or break if knocked or dropped.

CLEANING & SHINE

  • Always clean with soft cloth before storing; lingering oils or chemicals can cause tarnish or dullness.
  • Avoid detergents, toothpaste, liquid cleaners, or ultrasonic/steam devices - they can strip plating or damage stones.

STORAGE

  • For long-term care, keep jewellery in a cool, dry environment, away from damp air and temperature extremes - an airtight pouch or box works best.
  • For travel, use the pouch or box provided to avoid breakage and tangling.
  • Silver jewellery may darken over time as exposure to air causes natural oxidation; this is not a sign of inferior materials.

PROFESSIONAL MAINTENANCE

  • Natural skin oils can gently dim the lustre of moissanite polki and other semi-precious stones.
  • If the 22K Gold-Plating softens with wear, we offer professional re-plating - contact us via email or WhatsApp for service details - charges apply.

OUR CRAFT & GENTLE DISCLAIMER

  • Each creation is lovingly handmade. Despite our highest standards, rare instances of breakage, stone displacement, or other unforeseen issues may occur.
  • Subtle patina, minor variations, or gentle signs of use are inherent to handcrafted silver and are not considered defects.
  • The House of Almaari is not liable for damage caused by improper care or normal wear and tear, but we are happy to assist with professional servicing whenever possible.
  • Our jewellery is hypoallergenic and free from nickel and lead. If you have particularly sensitive skin, you may wish to do a quick patch test by wearing the piece on a small area first for added peace of mind.
